The Welcome to Sooke sign stands west of the Sooke River Bridge, at the entrance to Sooke's town centre on Highway 14 at Phillips Road. Sooke's real-estate market had a strong year in 2025, outpacing sales and prices of 2024. The Victoria suburb remained a much more affordable community in terms of housing cost, compared to southern Vancouver Island's regional figures.
Sooke's 2025 real-estate market saw sales and price gains, with houses priced 25% below Victoria's regional avg.
