A new poll released this week found that Ben Shapiro — the co-founder and editor emeritus of The Daily Wire and host of "The Ben Shapiro Show," the top conservative podcast in the nation — is ranked as the most trusted major conservative media personality.

The poll from WPA Intelligence surveyed 1,000 verified registered voters across the U.S. in mid-December and found that the most trusted major media personality was Left-of-center comedian Bill Maher, host of HBO's "Real Time."
Among respondents who were familiar with the personalities, 52% trusted Maher, 49% trusted Shapiro, 46% trusted Joe Rogan, 43% trusted Tucker Carlson, and 42% trusted Jake Tapper.
Rogan is host of "The Joe Rogan Experience," the most downloaded podcast in the world. Carlson's program 'Tucker Carlson Tonight" was the highest rated show on Fox News.
The poll found that the total net trust level — when accounting for Democrats, Republicans, and independents — for each of the personalities was Maher +3%, Shapiro -1%, Rogan -7%, Tapper -8%, and Carlson -11%.
