The Oak Bay Artists' Studio Tour is an opportunity to view and purchase visual art by Oak Bay artists. Many of Oak Bay's established and emerging artists use their homes and studios as backdrops to display original watercolour, acrylic, and oil paintings, photography, woodcuts, as well as fibre, glass, and pottery creations.
The free tour is produced by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation, and Culture. The tour is self-guided and self-paced, with maps provided below. Nestled in the heart of Victoria's Gonzales neighbourhood, this small plot of land is home to one of the capital city's best-kept secrets.
With a few meandering gravel paths winding through the lush property, among glaciated rocks and Garry oaks, Abkhazi Garden offers an urban haven for locals and tourists seeking tranquility away from downtown's hustle and bustle.
Nearing its 80th anniversary, the site opened to all on Oct. 13 for Thanksgiving as the season turned to fall.

"The colours have started to change, it's absolutely beautiful, and we're having the final day of our art show and plant sale," said site manager Cherie Miltimore.

Paramount has acquired the Free Press, a four-year-old digital news platform, and will make its controversial co-founder Bari Weiss editor in chief of CBS News, the company announced Monday.
The official announcement came after months of speculation on the deal and Weiss' high-profile role within the news division. Weiss, 41, will report to Paramount Chief Executive David Ellison, who personally courted the former New York Times journalist.
The union of the Free Press and CBS News will be one of the most closely watched lab experiments in the modern media era. Weiss has no experience in television or running an editorial operation on the scale of CBS News, which has more than 1,000 employees.
