Love the rock has just posted a new topic entitled "London Drugs supports 150 new refugees for Canada's 150" in forum "Retail Establishments & Grocery Markets".

Today I noticed a table with cards on it similar to Santa Anonymous style but with red maple leaves asking for help to help 150 new refugees for Canada 150 birthday.
Some of the cards seemed to ask for modest items cleaning supplies,laundry baskets,flour etc .
Not too bad of an idea .
The more I read tho the more my blood started to boil .
Vacuum cleaners ,iPhone for my wife ,(that one really got me )iPad ,tablets .
Come on lose the sense of entitlement.
To my knowledge refugees have never had as much financial help when they immigrate as the do today.
Many organizations come together to help support new families adjust and continue helping.
Asking me to buy refugees items which working Canadian families have to save for I find infuriating .
My tax dollars go to help support refugees every month if you want an iPhone for your wife get a job start saving.
